Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
